New Whitefield homes now available to buy
January 24, 2020 | Dan ToddMore than a dozen new homes at our Elizabethan Terrace development in Whitefield, Greater Manchester, have now been released for sale.
The development being built on the site of the former Elizabethan pub on Ribble Drive is due for completion this summer, and will include 15 two and three-bedroom homes for Shared Ownership – all of which are now available to reserve off plan.
The stylish terraced and semi-detached homes feature fully-fitted contemporary kitchens, modern bathroom suites, front and rear gardens and allocated driveway parking.
Sandy Kelly, head of sales at Onward Living, said: “We are delighted to launch these much-needed affordable homes on our exciting new development in Whitefield.
“Elizabethan Terrace is in a great location with access to fantastic schools, great transport links and a variety of shops, bars and restaurants on nearby Bury New Road – making it the perfect place to call home.
“We’ve already had a huge amount of interest in these homes and expect them to be snapped up quickly, so we recommend that prospective buyers register their interest sooner rather than later to avoid missing out.”
While the Elizabethan Terrace development is due for completion in May 2020, a show home is set to be launched in March.
The homes are priced from £54,775 for a two-bedroom terraced house based on a 35% share, while three-bedroom homes start at £63,000 for a 35% share.
Shared Ownership allows you to buy a percentage (between 25% and 75%) of your new home, and pay rent on the rest. Onward Living owns part of it — but you’re living there, you decorate it, and you decide when to sell.
Buying a percentage means a smaller deposit and smaller mortgage. It’s a sooner first step on the ladder for lots of people. At this development you can also carry on buying shares, to own it 100%.
