On Tuesday 16th April, Onward officially launched the new dedicated Shared Ownership and home sales division, Onward Living.

Onward Living has been set up to help with our ambitious plans to build 1,600 affordable homes across the North West by 2023, with a particular focus on helping buyers get a foot on the property ladder through Shared Ownership.

The launch of Onward Living signifies our commitment to delivering new homes for a wide range of customers, while continuing to build on our strong partnerships with local councils, Homes England and contractors across the North West.

To mark the launch, a special event was held at the site of Onward Living’s debut development Clifton Gardens (pictured), which is due for completion this summer.

The £3.6m affordable housing scheme on Colebrooke Road in Aigburth, Liverpool, will consist of 20 homes for shared ownership and four homes for affordable rent.

Prices for the first homes available at Clifton Gardens start at £95,000 (based on a 50% share).

Other Shared Ownership developments in the pipeline include Sycamore Gardens, which will see 27 homes built in Great Sutton, Wirral, and Halton Court, a collection of 30 homes in Runcorn, Cheshire, with more sites to be announced soon.
